TAG is led by experienced entrepreneurs who are enthusiastic about growing, innovating, and running healthy businesses, and who enjoy the energy of working with passionate and creative entrepreneurs.
An associate member of The Acceleration Group and an enthusiastic leader, Chris Brookfield brings to bear his entrepreneurial experience as well as his expertise as a global executive and his passion as an executive coach. Chris currently runs a successful executive coaching business practice in addition to serving on several boards through TAG.
Chris specializes in leadership development and has successfully coached professionals to increase performance, maximize potential and develop greater work life balance. His clients are business professionals in various fields: accounting services, financial services, technology and retail. Prior to his coaching practice, he was president of Marvelous Market where he helped build the company from a small artisan bread company to a ten store chain of gourmet food stores with a vibrant wholesale business. His executive experience also includes time as Director of International Business Development in Central & Eastern Europe for a AMF, a multi-national corporation.
Chris has a Masters in Business Administration from the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and a Psychology Degree from Duke University. He is a graduate of the Co-Active Coaching Program at the Coaches Training Institute of San Rafael, California.
He is active in the DC and entrepreneurial communities, serving on the Board of Directors of several organizations including the Washington DC chapter of the International Coaching Federation, the Young Entrepreneurs Organization, the Latin American Youth Center Creative Enterprises, and Angels Camp, a nonprofit dedicated to ending homelessness across the nation.
