An associate member of The Acceleration Group, and a passionate serial entrepreneur, Debbie Hamel is a 18-year technology industry veteran and has extensive experience with leading emerging companies, raising capital, developing strategic direction and managing growth. As current CEO for Take Charge Technologies, Debbie's strong technical background, product management knowledge, and operational infrastructure experience, augments her leadership skills and enables her to tie all the functional areas of TakeCharge into a cohesive and rapidly growing organization.
Debbie's proven track record of success exemplified by fervent leadership, vision, and an inexorable focus on profitability strengthen delivery of establishing the company as the recognized leader in procurement card program management and spend intelligence. With experiences ranging from startups, enterprise software, management consulting and Fortune 500 companies, Debbie understands purchasing and spend management needs and infrastructure.
Previously, she co-founded XMLSolutions, which enabled secure, real-time B2B exchange of direct and indirect materials transactions over the internet, and among trading partners, exchanges and marketplaces.
Prior to XMLSolutions, Miss Hamel was International Vice President, PLATINUM technology, Inc. She began her career as a consultant with AAA, ACCENTURE and then at Reltech, focused on the metadata repository technology market.
